I've never seen the show, I've only heard good things in passing. I can see myself watching it one day. With the said, I'm going to assume the titular "Good Place" is suppose to be Hell?

I've been kind of thinking the same. It's still good but where else can they go without obviously stretching out the story.

I wish they had done differently in the beginning so it would have lasted longer. Big spoilers, I think they fucked up in having the "neighbors" figuring out what happened so quick. It should have been middle of the 2nd season or so when they found out.

I love the show so I guess it's just me being selfish but I knew it wasn't going to last long after season 1.

Yes and no. Id watch it.

*Potential Spoilers*
I've always had an idea for something where it centers on Hell, but it turns out hell isn't actually a bad place. It's actually a nice paradise in itself and it only gets such a bad rep because God is mad at Satan for leaving heaven and so gets back at him by slandering his name and deeming Hell the awful realm of suffering we know it as today.

I've just kind of assumed the show beat me to this punch lol

It's hard explaining it without spoiling it all, but nah it's not like that. I guess if you want to read these upcoming spoilers but they pretty much spoil the whole thing, everything, all of it...so warning, don't read if you don't want to be spoiled about it all

the 4 people died and were bad people so they were going to hell. One of hells workers decided to make a fake heaven and torture the 4 people while they think they are in heaven. They figure it out, hundreds of times, they go to the real bad place, or hell, and realize how awful it really is and they spend the next seasons getting close with that hell worker and trying to get into the real good place.
