It's just too bad the last season is more or less alternating between the Student Six and episodes that seem like they're from season 3.
Should have gone full on 80s-style "Skeletor got away again" now that they've got a "skeletor", or at least alternate that with Student Six episodes.

I stopped watching very shortly before the film came out. I think I missed two or three and a half seasons plus the film.

It wasn't an intentional choice, but I just kind of fell off it. The show had gradually been dipping in quality for a while aside from a few highlights. The brony fanbase barely exists at this point anymore.

While Game of Thrones went out with a horrendous Chad bang, MLP dies with a pathetic incel whimper.

I haven't watched since Twilight became a princess. I mean I've caught scenes and episodes here or there, but I lost interest gradually. Hasbro seems to have pushed the show as long as they could, huh? I wonder how their toy sales are doing.

I saw the movie, it was as boring and full of cliches as expected and polluted with celebrities I never heard of or cared about.

And by the halfway point of season 9 it seems they already hinted at how the last season will finally end.

I used to post in some of those topics a few years ago with an alt. Though I stopped watching the show mid season 5.

Also, Fluttershy is best pony.

Mid season five was actually a fairly high point for the show. Consistently good episodes right around there.

And it's mostly managed to maintain good quality throughout. We saw a bit of a lull in season six, but Starlight has been a real treat any time she shows up.

I stopped watching after the movie. It didnt get bad, I just stopped following.

I still watch it between black mirror episodes, turning all the ponies to teachers seems unfitting (except for 34 sexy teacher editions), it's also anti canon for rarity and applejack to have time for that, they should have done it a twilight only project (dragging starlight in as well[which in turn drags in her senpai and trixie]) while the other mane 6 help here and there strictly for the lols
