I know it's just player count and it's not always an indicator of success or failure. But it's not looking good for Anthem as a whole

I own fallout 76 and am waiting to start actually playing it (other then like 10-20 hours on release). Probably many other people are as well...so if they keep improving it...eventually they will have an audience.

EA already seems to be ditching Anthem.

It's not like Anthem is their sole microtransaction revenue source.

Fallout 76 on the other hand, is Bethesda's first "AAA" multiplayer microtransaction game and currently their only one, so even if they know it's garbage they have nowhere else to turn to if they want microtransaction money.
