I mean, in todays world it is a necessary right, but picture the first tribe of humans maybe 50 people large or whatever.

Of course morality is subjective but assuming they were pure angels (a big assumption but whatever), it would be best to keep together as a cohesive community and if one of the members started to stray away from decency (started killing animals out of pleasure or something, for example) it would be good to have others in the society be around and be able to help dissuade them from that behavior.

Idk

I was thinking in the sense that, for example, Puritans would condemn many (or even most) forms of sexual interaction but today many people in certain societies feel that freedom in that deparment is the right way to go (for the most part I am a part of that latter group).

There's subjectivity and then there's lots of people just being wrong.

Nah. Puritans didn't have a problem with sexual activity as much as people think but they did basically force the people in question to get married.

Thats intriguing, could you elaborate? And what about LGBTQ people in that scenario?

I don't understand people who say "what do I care if the goverment looks at me? I got nothing to hide"

maybe right now you don't. but what if things change later and you find you want some privacy?

or what if the government misuses it's prying? people who think like that, think that the government will never change and will always be nice. but imagine if you give them that power over you....and then later the government turns evil, maybe with a military overthrow and now suddenly that power you granted to nice people is now in evil hands. and you done fucked up. it's better to just keep your privacy

Basically, they kinda figured there was nothing they could do to stop horny teenagers from having sex so their solution was if it happened they had to get married.

They still would not have considered LGBTQ acceptable.

Most philosophers throughout history would agree with DevsBro tbh. Morality is objective. Regardless of religion.
