There are shitty parts of every fanbase, but Undertale's shitty part is waaaaay too large and vocal with their DETERMINATION and other stupid memes. They make me want to not play the game out of spite. I did play a little bit of it when it first came out and it's okay, I guess. But I really don't like all the quirky bullshit in it because it tried way too hard to be like EarthBound and it was nowhere near as good. Personally, I think it's a terrible game, but that's mostly because I don't like the Earthbound/Mother style writing and the bullet-hell combat mechanics, but I acknowledge that's more of an issue of personal preference than it is the game being objectively bad.
