Yeah contacting parents unless they where a part of why you got in trouble should always be an exception. Like in a case of a friend of mine. He didnt get busted but if he had I could see them barring him from contacting his mom for thr duration of parole/probation. Basically she was dealing drugs but making him do the delivering and collecting payments as a way of charging him rent since he lived with her for free.
