Garlic is fine. I also like garlic salt. I hate garlic powder though. Way too strong.

Is it made out of your colon? If so, does it smell? How often do you have to dilate it?

Weekly dilation at this point. Although, I sometimes do it bi-weekly.

Smell? I cannot really compare to a biological vagina, never having been around one. But I mean, given the explanations I have heard, it's probably accurate. Thankfully, I clean it regularly. And no to the colon part.

Sensation is kind of impossible to explain. It almost feels the same though. There is a difference though. Very hard to explain.

It was awful. I was in the hospital bed and my lower body was on an epidural. I was so numb, I couldn't even move my body. Once the epidural came out, getting up and walking was slow and somewhat painful, but I assume the reason for that was mostly because I had a catheter and the area was "packed" .... but they tried to keep the area numb for almost a week to heal, so yeah.

I was just curious on recovery time ?? Obviously its a major procedure and I had considered it at one point in time but right now I'm leaning to simply staying as I am simply due to the fact that I wouldn't be able to take the proper recovery time as my job is very physical.

You dont need to answer if it's a somewhat invasive question

Took about a month, but always requires maintenance in some way or form, such as inner cleaning, outer cleaning, and dilation obviously. But it felt mostly healed after 3 months. :D

Yeah, I planned it out so I could recover over the summer, so it wouldn't intrude on my schooling. Sucks about the job though. Do they know about you?

Yeah, it's so hard to remember. I assume TTEOT because it had so much to do in it that it probably required a lot of research on my behalf to get and do half the things in that game. It only makes sense.

Star Ocean 2, ..... I forget. I either beat it or got to the final boss and stopped. I assume I stopped before the final boss. It's a habit I'd have with most RPGs. I never beat so many games. I never beat FF5/6/7, but was at the final boss of all of them. I never beat Vakyrie Profile 2, but was at the final boss. I never beat Legend of Dragoon, but was at Disc 4. I was so bad with that.

Anyway, asking primarily for a trans friend who is transitioning and working towards passing. They're having a huge fear about going in public as a female. I've been trying to help, but they just have this staunch fear about it and think all eyes will fall on them immediately. Which isn't true, but I can't say that either or work a way around it. How did you get past those fears, if you had them, or what can I do or say to get them over that fear. It's been like this for about a year, and I legitimately think they could pass easily if they dressed appropriately (and I've already said this to them too).

The weird thing is I had been doing well, made it out many times as I progressed, grinded effectively and seemed to be in the recommended level range, even maybe slightly above. Things seemed right and the further I went, the more cautious I was and the more proactive I was with healing and whatnot.

Suddenly I drop down to the next floor and get attacked by a bunch of little worms and the whole party was dead in 2-3 seconds and I had no time to process what was even physically happening. They just swarmed and the party was wiped out entirely before I had time to react. I was like wtf just happened. It was like going into the wrong dungeon way too early only it was all the same dungeon. Just weird unexpected difficulty spike. Now I'm curious to look up a bestiary or something and see just how big the discrepancy is between the enemies there and the previous floors >_>

Oy. I'm sure I had many moments like that as well. When you worded it like that, DW2 was all that came to mind immediately though. Maybe I tend to be more cautious. Only reason I wasn't in DW2 is because the 100 floors had to be cleared in 1 sitdown.

The bill was for all public accomodations. With this law, we are protected from discrimination in public places. Meaning, harassment in malls, parks, or any public accommodation is against the law. It was pinned by the No on 3 campaign as a bathroom bill. It was beyond that. It meant overall discrimination protection.

TTEOT had some decent-sized dungeons too. You had Sphere 255, Maze of Tribulations, and .... something else. A volcano or something. I still doubt they were as intricate or big as what you are describing though. Sphere 255 probably was the closest to that.

^ if you're talking SO3

There was the Urrsa Cave Temple, that's the volcano post game dungeon. Gets harder if you clear it after the made of tribulations. So of course, that also means if you want to get all the "encounter X types of enemy" battle trophies in one go, you'll need a few saves. One for (boss A+B), (B+A) as well as the "beat them without taking damage/ in under 60 seconds" before the maze of tribulations, and one for beating the same composition but after the maze. Also you'll need to take out the third boss combo, doesn't matter which one you get as long as you abuse multiple saves to pad the enemy list.

Edit: you can do more if you didn't recruit an 8th character, in that case you can do (a+b) (b+c) and (c+a) x2, only caveat is you need to recruit the 8th character before finishing sphere 211.

That is true about the protections staying in place. Is there still a fear for that though employer wise?

I had no idea, which I guess brings up the next point, how'd you get insurance to cover it? What doctor/hospital did you go ultimately?

As for if she has come out to everyone? My guess would be no, she's afraid of what people would say at her job. Which is understandable. But I mean...I'm sure people know she is transitioning, I don't mean to be blatant but she's quite blessed with her endowments as a result of the transition. They're her pride and joy and she knows and brags about it to me often. Which is what's so confusing as to why she's terrified about wearing women's clothing.

The first step is always the hardest, but I would imagine it would be easier with someone who's encouraging you along the way.

I've taken a few steps, but depression is a powerful demotivator. and then you have my mother who has basically done her damnedest to barricade me in the closet since I was 5.

Yeah, that place you fight Freya at.

Oh, the bill passed in 2015 for transgender people. The vote in 2018 was to remove the protections. Nothing will be changing involving that law.

And cool, I live in Massachusetts too, although I .... assume you knew that?

Hmm. I had to come out first. Did she come out yet to EVERYONE? .... After that, I got straight onto hormones and pushed to fix my looks. I started transitioning about 6 years ago, (was 26 at the time) so anything is possible for anyone really. The issue is, you need to be "willing".... if she isn't willing, she'll never jump. She'll miss 100% of the opportunities she doesn't take.

That is true about the protections staying in place. Is there still a fear for that though employer wise?

Yeah, because you could always be fired for a stupid thing if they don't want a trans person there, so how can you fight it? It's kind of hard. Though, I believe we ARE protected in employment, so why would an employer want to hire us if they fear getting rid of us if we don't work out is a possible outcome?

I have Tufts Health Plan through the Mass Connector. They are covering my breasts in three weeks too. Great, great plan.

Ah, I see. Yeah, she can't move forward if she has those barriers. I left my job because I wanted to move on and start over. She'll have to do the same, or transition in the job. On and off at work is no way to live. She needs 100% liberation from this male role.

Guess that's true, but I feel like in Mass most people don't care. At least at the hospital I work at there's multiple out transitioning people, no one cares. My boss is a lesbian and no one cares. Maybe in Central mass there's some discriminatory people, but Eastern and Western Mass seems to be relatively safe.

They covered the SRS too? How much did you pay for that?

That'll be her choice to make, if she ever feels confident.

Oh, that reminds me, I had my surgery done at the BMC. I know you asked about that.

Yeah, I am from a redder town myself in the southern part of Massachusetts. Most seem quiet. I heard in my Community College that one of the girls in the honors club gave me a stink eye and said negative things about me before to a friend of mine. It's always nice knowing those people have the gull to speak about you behind your back, but play it pretty in front of you.

The overall cost was 41k. I had to pay like 60 bucks out of pocket.

That Bill is in effect as far as I know. It was actually not to introduce a policy but to keep an existing policy in place, though afaik it was just for bathroom choices (the building I work in now has some restrooms as All Gender restrooms)

The bill was for all public accomodations. With this law, we are protected from discrimination in public places. Meaning, harassment in malls, parks, or any public accommodation is against the law. It was pinned by the No on 3 campaign as a bathroom bill. It was beyond that. It meant overall discrimination protection.

I don't remember how many floors SO2 dungeon was. I want to say in the 12-16 range. They were pretty large though. Tales of phantasia had a similar one. That one didn't give me trouble though.

TTEOT had some decent-sized dungeons too. You had Sphere 255, Maze of Tribulations, and .... something else. A volcano or something. I still doubt they were as intricate or big as what you are describing though. Sphere 255 probably was the closest to that.

How many cars can you fit in your garage?

And by that, I mean marshmallow peeps, and your mouth.

I could, if I were to guess, fit maybe 4 in it? But I don't care for those at all.

Ah okay. That's good then.

Yeah I actually don't really remember the scope of the dungeon, just that I had been at it for a while and it felt bigger than the others in the game. It was called the cave of trials if you're interested in looking it up. I didn't play the one you mentioned but I wouldn't be surprised if it has something similar being from the same series and all.
