You have a issue your trouble shooting but all of the answers are videos. Or someone links a news item to you and its just a video and no text.

I personally hate this, but I could just be out of touch.

I don't, I prefer to read it. I used to read certain articles on mma websites but when they just went with videos I stopped clicking on them. I think a lot of people did since they went back to written articles.

And fuck all these news sites nowadays that have their own horribly optimized video players on the site. Just use freaking YouTube or some other established video player service that actually works well.

I prefer text articles. I can read it at my own pace and be done with it faster than with watching a video.

No, videos mean I have to sit and wait for the 1-2 seconds of actual information in the 3-5 minute fluff piece while with text I can skim over it and find it much quicker.

Depends. Sometimes, I just want to look something up really quick. And text would be better. But video is good in some cases, as well. It just depends on what Im doing, what I have with me (phone, laptop, etc.), and everything like that...

I will say that a video did help me find a building once. I was playing Dying Light. I found building that had a lot of some item. Later, I got a quest for that item. I decided to go back to that building, but couldnt find it. I knew I was close, but not the exact location. Looking it up led me right to it... And no commentary...
