i like the cast better than 1 and i am still on the 3rd mission with the fake tanks. the gameplay is pretty much the same, with a new unit, but i love Vc 1's gameplay so it doesnt matter.

I hope they eventually re-release 2 and 3 on console

2 and 3 was underwhelming i heard. because it was on handheld, the gameplay and map size got dumbed down alot i heard, and 3 aren't even officially in english. i haven't played 2 and 3, but i dont think we will ever get them on steam

they havent shown the bad guys yet, but i like the main cast so far. the main missions are varied so far and it's fun.

I have them on psp, and i think you can buy them on Vita ? I mean, 3 had a fan patch, not sure if it will work with Vita anyway.
Also, i disagree. 4 had much less gameplay compared to other games, and much more visual novel stuff

2 and 2 were both grindy but still elevated the gameplay from 1

3 in particular is great, so much improvement over 2

The translation patch works on Vita but you need a jailbroke Vita to load it on there

VC2 is natively playable on Vita but you need to transfer it from a PS3

I played about 10 missions and concluded the game was way too easy to get perfect ranks on every mission once you figured it out. Basically, just use a majority of scouts to quickly blitz your objective. Works for 80% of missions it seems. The other 20% are pretty obvious--Use more Lancers, use more assaults, whatever. Just send them forward, use orders to make them unbeatable with extra turns, and rush to the objective.

3 is my favorite tbh, i like the characters and story a lot compared to other games. Hopefully they will remake them for ps4 (or 5)
