Title. I'm getting sick of having an automatic reboot every time I try to watch videos on YT, browse Amazon and try to do anything else. Anyone know how to make it stop permanently or at least how to turn it off?

My phone doesn't seem to do this, so I can't help you. In the event you have an iphone though (I don't know if this is a thing iphones do or not), I'll just add this to the list of reasons not to ever get one or recommend them, though.

Go back to where you got the phone and get it exchanged, sounds like its defective. Or maybe its the case on the phone forcing a restart if you have one.

Don't have a case and where I got it requires the box, which I lost while at the library yesterday (honestly, I personally think that someone tossed it since I was carrying the bag with the box in it around yesterday and it disappeared at one point while I was trying to get everything set up).

Needing the box is pretty much needed everywhere, as the phone is tracked with IMEI, which is a serial number. Can't just swap a box like most electronics, as it fucks up the inventory due to the IMEI

Yeah. Half considering selling it except for the fact I don't have a camera to get a photo of it. Honestly, I think Google needs to make phones that DON'T do this. All it is a big annoyance that just ends up being a test of "How long can you put up with it before intentionally leaving the phone on a bus" patience. At this rate the library computers seem better. They may lag and have a time limit but at least they won't randomly reboot in the middle of a session.

At this point, I'm considering doing a factory reset, sealing the phone and the charger that came with it in a Ziploc bag (or any bag that's waterproof at this point) and leaving it in a fountain late at night just so I can be rid of this annoyance. It's gotten to the point where I can't use Amazon or YouTube for more then 15 minutes.

Could adware do something like this? Have you downloaded stuff from sketchy places? Maybe doing a factory reset would fix it.
