I can't speak for Dead Souls or whatever, but I've been replaying 4 recently and it's a very solid game. Even if Yakuza fans - of all fans, considering how the series as a whole is about as twisty as Metal Gear is at this point - regard it as a pretty subpar game for how it handles the story, the fact remains that stacked against most other games, Yakuza 4 is very polished and offers an incredible amount of content. Even Yakuza 3 in its butchered localised form is better than a lot of PS3 games from the time it was released in.

Yakuza is the best series in gaming

I liked the PSP games and Kanzen even though they have some flaws (mainly being quite out dated compared to the recent games). My favorite is still Ishin, but I haven't played 6 or Judge Eyes yet.
