A cashier's check is a money order. That shit is as good as gone once it's sent. It can't be stopped. The only thing you get is a receipt that will tell you whether or not it was cashed.

A check of that amount is going to be put on hold and checked by an actual person who would see the name doesnt match. Also, mobile deposits have limits, you cant deposit a 500k via mobile deposit. Doubt through an ATM either.
