Rida_Go_To_Bed posted...Your friend seems like he needs some help. You could be the first line of help that he needs to set him down a good path. Go out with him and keep an eye on his mannerisms. If he's seeking you out, he is doing it for one of two reasons: he thinks that you can help him, or he thinks that he can get things from you. That sounds scary, but keep that in mind when you take him out. I've been in situations like this where I've done strange things to friends as kind of a "hey man, I need you, but I'm way too embarrassed to talk about my life right now" because I was afraid of being judged by the people who care about me. IDK, I could be wrong, but that is just my opinion on the topic. There are many situations that I can hypothesize that could have happened to him to make him that way. I'm not a psychologist though. I wish you luck with helping your friend, and again, if you suspect drugs, feel free to PM me. Things to keep out for: check his pupils (very large or pinpointed?), check his perspiration (sweating a lot in a cold environment?), are his hands shaky, does he seem restless, is he talking very fast, is he avoiding eye contact, is his speech slurred, has he had rapid weight loss (or gain), has he been isolating himself, are just some things to look out for. A lot of these can be applied to a large amount of other non-drug related issues, but are my go to's for getting a hunch if someone is on something. --- Just try to handle this. ... IDK, I could be wrong, but that is just my opinion on the topic. It's not his drug usage that worries me tbh. It's his lack of support. He's seen so much, and I've lived with him before so I understand where he comes from and what he's been through. I somewhat know his family and he's been part of my inner circle so I'm not gonna behave like a stranger who either slams the door on him or a professional doctor who does the exact opposite. I told his sister who was driving the car that he needs to relax. The whole family seemed extremely stressed, but I think they do love him. --- "how hard is it for people to understand that not everything you read will be something you agree with?" - Awesome ...
