So I set my helicopter music to You Spin Me Round.

Ride of the Valkyries was the best so far but it got old after a while. Most of the others don't work at all because of the intro but You Spin Me starts fast pretty much immediately.

I love the idea of Rebel Yell and Final Countdown but it takes so long to get to the good part on both of those that I'm either leaving or gone by the time they even kick in. I didn't realize Final Countdown's iconic intro was so far into the track.

That said, if Heavens Divide is in this game, there better be a mission like the helicopter one in Ground Zeroes so I can get to the dramatic part while firing the minigun lol.

The helicopter will also play the music while backing you up. Sound an alarm and the enemy swarm is too much for you? Call in the chopper to plow through the enemies while blasting music.

Yeah but for several of the tracks and several of the locations, they still don't get to the part that's actually fitting until everything is dead. They'll certainly be dead long before the dramatic part of Heavens Divide.

I imagine it would work well for Final Countdown though, now that you mentiom it.

This infection subplot is pretty brilliant.

I mean, not for story reasons, but because it puts the player's personal investment into the game at stake, appears super urgent and encourages the player make bad guy decisions for sake of practicality, in a game where you play as the bad guy (who just happens to be fighting a bedder guy).

And the best part is that the presentation makes it unclear whether it's best to contunue the story or do detective work first. For the first time in the whole game, I legitimately don't know how to proceed. And it deals with a topic as touchy from a narrative standpoint as the gameplay is. Loving it. Whoever at KP had this idea deserves a raise.

The story so far has varied from WTF to stupid but this was one great decision.

Also lol at Miller being his usual derpy self and blaming the whole thing of Quiet even though it makes no sense whatsoever just because he hates her.

I did a mission at night once and ran over a kid I had tranqed. Instant game over pissed me off lol. But do a running punch on a kid if you really want to feel bad. I mean getting hit with a running start punch from snakes metal hand has to dislocate a kids jaw.

On the eli thing people would have been pissed if foxes backstory was retconned yet again.

No, you have to unlock the wandering soldier missions in the main missions. I have gotten through wandering soldier 5. I think I'm roughly halfway through the main missions, based on how many S Ranks I have and which challenges I have completed that reward you for a certain percentage of S-Ranks. If my guess is correct, there shoupd be about 50 main missions, and IIRC I just finished 24 or 25.

Ah ok. The final picture to give her can be confusing. If you need help im sure someone on here like myself or better yet to mgs v board itself will help

I had some of the same feelings you had about retcons when first seeing her but the ending makes the journey worth it imo.

I literally just realized that the entire purpose of Sahelanthropus is just to have a convenient reason for Huey to be with Skull Face 9 years later.

Why the fuck wouldn't they just collect Zeke from under Mother Base? And if they couldn't do that, why not just build another Zeke if you need a Metal Gear. Why, specifically, did Skull Face need a Metal Gear only a child could pilot? And if he *didn't* need that, why didn't he just execute Huey as soon as he presented him with such a stupid fucking machine?

D walker with gatling gun but dont get close enough or they will pretty much destroy it with ease. (That rusting metal thing they did to your chopper) There is a tactic involving decoys and and a anti air gun. Some people use quiet. Or grind for OP machine guns

As said dwalker gatling gun. I think these skulls have two bars one is their health the other is armor. Their armor can regenrate so you have to rain some heavy lead into them to beat one fairly quickly. I anymore use the serval sniper rifle plus those pills that force reflex mode so I can land 2-3 headshots. But im fairly sure you dont have the serval or even Brennan yet. Both are fairly high level guns

I think the gat came standard. You have the regular guns like you are talking about then a bigger gun on the side. There is gatling gun. Flamethrower (super op but killing enemies with fire gives more demon points. Never tried on a skull though. Easily kills armored guards though making those side ops a joke.) and rocket launcher

Go into the setup thing from the acc though. You can set up 3 custom d walkers to select from before a mission.

Yeah you gotta break their armor and as said i believe it regenerates if you dont keep the pressure on them. Basically have to single one out and focus on them to make it easier.

This "don't let the MoF attsck after meeting with Ocelot" task is kinda weird too.

I'm pretty sure the "have you lost your mind" damage is unavoidable, but I'm not positive.

Also, it's not clear whether reloading checkpoint resets it. Probably doesn't if I had to guess.

It's really dumb to do a task like this on a mission that's so dang tedious to repeat.

That Sahelanthropas vs XOF scene couldn't have been dumber if it tried lmao.

I started laughing when it pulled out the sword thing, then it uses it to throw a helicopter, which was also funny, but the part that killed me was when it kicked the tank at Snake.

Fight was kinda fun though. It was a pretty creative way to do an open world boss fight.

But uh

What happened to, like, pretty much everything?

Is Zeke still on the ocean floor? Is Liquid getting the leftover parasite a plug for a nonexistent sequel? Was the parasite the "weapon to surpass Metal Gear? Why did it even matter if Skull Face's real goal was to use Sahel in combat? How was this a secret? Did DD think he was just going to build the thing and keep it underground forever? Why did Huey hide SF's real plan? Why didn't they just keep shooting Sahel in mission 12?

I guess I should have seen the retrieval of Sahel coming, since Snake got literally everything except for Ocelot and D Horse by extracting it, lol.

Hopefully some of this is addressed in the aftergame, which according to my calculations, should be roughly 20 missions.

I will warn you one plot thread never gets finished. When done with the game youtibe mission 51. It's cut content and apparently (the cut scenes for it but the gameplay portion was never finished) was included in the collecters edition so I consider it canon since it does tie up that loose thread.

I think sfs plan with revealing Sally bte was to spread fear as a metal gear had never been made public knowledge before but its been awhile

I know its the medical platform 2 stories up and on the side closest to the detainment cell quiet and inside the middle are. I cant recall if it only lets you in if you have a picture or not.

Btw on the missions where you locate former mother base soliders. Normally I wouldnt give advice but this is worth seeing at least once. Use a carboard box and approach one of them.i say this because those missions cant be replayed aside from starting a completely new game. One of my complaints about the game as their is a handful of side missions like that
