One of my best friends tried for years to have a kid and couldnt. Shed essentially given up but it happened a few years ago around age 30. I can only imagine how painful the journey has been but theres still hope. Hang in there!

On the other hand, friends of mine with fertility issues for years ended up adopting and are completely in love with their new son.

Thanks, all for the continued support. It still means a lot. Another month passed with no good news to report on the baby front. Mother's Day today was challenging because my wife wishes that she were 5+ months along right now. I remain optimistic, but it still takes a toll the longer it takes.

I really hope this month coming up with be the month. We can start trying again in a few days.

Also our hedgehog is adorable and amazing. We picked her up from a breeder in Nevada on May the Fourth, so naturally a Star Wars related name was in order. Her name is Mayhew Organa in honor of Leia and Chewie, but we can also call her May for short.

We haven't ruled it out, but we wanted to stick with trying to have one of our own for awhile. And can't the adoption process be fairly expensive?

Yes, but I just think if you're a loving couple, you're gonna love a child no matter where it came from, you know? Genetics don't make a family and you should consider it while still leaving open the possibility of pregnancy down the road, too.
