I actually disagree that Frasier was smarter. At it's height, Seinfeld was able to pinpoint the banality of adult entitlement so well that they were able to make entire episodes about things as simple as waiting for a table at a chinese restaurant. The level of perception to be able to make that work not just as a concept but in execution is truly brilliant writing.
