It's been awhile since I've seen an anime adaptation of a manga this bad. Season 1 of OG Tokyo Ghoul was really good, and 2 was serviceable, but Re just began shitting out >170 chapters (iirc) of content in 24 episodes
Hopefully this one sees the FMA Brotherhood treatment --- Posted with GameRaven 3.5.1 ... Copied to Clipboard!

The second manga was a convoluted trainwreck that left all the questions unanswered. It focused way too much on the Quinx Squad's half a dozen characters that it ended up with dozens of plotlines that lead nowhere.

The second manga was a convoluted trainwreck that left all the questions unanswered. It focused way too much on the Quinx Squad's half a dozen characters that it ended up with dozens of plotlines that lead nowhere. See I wholeheartedly disagree. I thought Re did a good job of balancing the introduction of new characters like Urie and Mutsuki with fleshing out the continued stories of characters like Amon, Takizawa, and of course Kaneki. I do feel as if the Anteiku group really got the shaft though; we see almost no real development from Touka, Nishiki, and Banjou (although I did like what they did with Shuu and his obsession with Kaneki interfering with his stint as Sasaki). All that's a real shame coming from a series that does side characters so god damn well --- Posted with GameRaven 3.5.1 ... Copied to Clipboard!
