I found the PS4 version on sale for cheap, and since the platinum is easily gotten during a single playthrough, I decided to go for it. Got the platinum in a little over 20 hours of playtime. The PS4 version is weird. It runs very smoothly and the environments are lovely, but many of the incidental NPCs have really weird faces that really take you out of it. A holdover from the original version is the clunky free-running. It was much better refined in Brotherhood, even. Collecting the feathers is still the most time-consuming chore in that game, but it didn't take more than a couple hours near the end so that was fine. I had much more trouble with the DLC. They integrate the DLC sequences pretty well into the main game, but that doesn't stop Bonfire of the Vanities from being a boring and frustrating grind that delays the momentum towards the finale.
