But you see foolmo,
Johnbobb, Drakeryn and Omniscientless might not agree with me. And it's fine. They posted their opinion, they disagreed, I read their post and respected their opinion and all is fine.
The difference is, they didn't personally attack me. This is what you are doing. Always.

You can never have a discussion, you just attack whoever you don't agree with, you just shit on their opinion like anyone having an opinion different to you just doesn't count.
This is why I will never respect you, this is why nobody should respect you. You are just pathetic loser that instead of saying "I don't agree with this, and this is why" you go and say "your opinion is shit because it's shit" wow good job dude

And so I did
And if you have a problem with it you can fuck off

lol read your own post. Look at how much you hedged what you said, going as far as invoking Ulti. YOU yourself have a problem with what you said. You can lash out at me if it makes you feel better but your conflict comes from inside. This is a good thing btw since it shows you have some form of self-awareness.

And no, contrary to popular belief, it wouldn't be better if you threw away all self-awareness and very confidently made your dumb statement instead.

And no I'm not gonna put on baby gloves and give you a medal for posting your opinion before I lightly disagree with it. Your opinion is shit. That's it. If you take that as a personal attack then that's your problem. I read it and responded to it earnestly, that's respect enough.

Johnbob and Drak were literally agreeing 90% with you too. If the only way to "respect your opinion" is to agree 90% then that's so sad. I agree 0%.

In the future I can do like Omni though and not acknowledge you personally. Just ask rhetorical questions to the wind. I actually do that a lot already, but then people cry about me being too vague and indirect. That I should take a stance and just say what I mean directly.

tl;dr I can't stop your crying

Cut the condescending bullshit. You are a hypocrite to the highest degree. You keep talking down on people for acting how you "used" to act, but you haven't changed a single bit.

You can't tell people to fuck off with that attitude until you actually change instead of just saying you've changed.

Fuck off until then.

Why is a show "going feminist" a bad thing in and of itself? You can't post a screenshot of women in a room and say that that's inherently bad. I see people suspend their disbelief all the time but the second it's about empowered women it's tacked on and trying too hard, lol.

You really thing a full-woman cabinet is a good thing?
If it doesn't scream FEMINISM in caps bold letter I don't know what is

Nothing against women, it should be 50-50 if anything
A cabinet that is full of just men and the president waving around that fact would be just as bad

Ok but how did it make the show worse that a cabinet is made up of women? Like how does this affect anything except for the fact it's women? This isn't inherently negative at all. At worst it's unrealistic but it's still fiction, on a show that has had no qualms building its own very fictional reality. No rules of its universe were broken.

Nanis, I think maybe you just employed a poor turn of phrase

You seemed to imply that if anything features feminist themes at all, that makes it automatically bad

I haven't seen the most recent season, but I do think that as claire's character became more popular and prominent it would only be natural for issues related to women in leadership to come up. In fact, it would be unrealistic to ignore them

Maybe you mean you felt the quick advancement of female characters in politics was distracting?

It's personally hard for me to write off unexpected cabinet choices as unrealistic in 2018

They did a live episode during the writers' strike to get around the contractual wording for writers.

Breaking Bad didn't seem to suffer from the strike either, even though you could tell what happened because of the lack of S1 episodes

tbh, there is a decent chance that season 1 isn't that good either

i mean this was 10 years ago, we were all like 13. it may not hold up.

I've only watched S1 and it was 5ish years ago. The first half or so is still pretty awesome, but when they start coming together all the interesting plot lines and characterization evaporates and the faux-anime stuff is all that's left.

The thing that made season one so cool was anticipation of what it could become. They were all losers just learning about their powers and seemed to be on a path to all meet up. And when that happened... they'd become heroes.

But gee whiz that definitely never happened

Not to mention the whole "save the cheerleader, save the world" stuff. It all seemed so important at the time.

By the way
My second favorite Marvel show is Agent Carter
You can have a light feminism theme and it won't bother anyone at all, it can even be adorable sometimes
