TheBlueMonk_ 12/23/18 1:06:26 PM #1:	if you dont hit an enemy with their weakness, their defense is like 999. like why the fuck is a goat taking 4 damage from a fucking fire ball, but once i hit it with an arrow, now it suddenly takes 500. at least with other games based around weaknesses and strengths like Persona, you can still do some relatively good enough damage. but here it just feels like if you dont use it, fuck you go get that character. a fucking Goat. normally enemy. 4 damage. geez. --- TWICE https://i.imgtc.com/vNF1kze.jpg <cite>TheBlueMonk_ posted [p:914597078] in im trying ... Doe 12/23/18 1:12:08 PM #7:	It is mediocre. I found the battle system fun but the game is as deep as a puddle; it presents you with beautiful locales you can't interact with at all. The story ranges from 'forgettable' to 'disturbing message' (Therion), and there's tons of awkward game design. Dungeons in the overworld are always open to explore but you can't fight the boss until you get the sidequest from the one NPC in the whole game who can give it to you. The first character you choose to play as is arbitrarily locked into your party, but you won't know this until you've picked up 4 other characters. Oh and I forgot the worst part of all. The voice acting. I really, truly do not understand the idea behind it. Characters say phrases before every screen of dialogue, but the phrase almost never matches the dialogue itself. This is at best jarring and at worst fucking annoying when you hear the same awkward bad anime VA voiceline for the thousandth time.
