I'm a fan of KoL from way back, was never a hardcore nut about the game but I liked it and I jived fairly well with its tone and style. I remember spending ages grinding for meat in the Spookyraven mansion, fighting dressers for meat wallets and coin purses.
West of Loathing is usually $14 AUD, but for the holidays they've dropped the price down to $10. Reckon that's a good deal for a KoL fan? --- And I always liked that about me, that I know what I'm fighting for - and for this, I'd go to war Now playing: Stardew Valley, FFX, Skyrim ... I'm glad to see so much KoL support in this thread! I just bought the game - thanks for commenting.
If any of y'all have other game suggestions from this Christmas sale, feel free to drop them here. I've got like $20 to spend, I'm looking for underrated gems at cutthroat prices but I'll consider dropping a bit more on a game that looks promising. --- And I always liked that about me, that I know what I'm fighting for - and for this, I'd go to war Now playing: Stardew Valley, FFX, Skyrim ... I'm considering buying Mechanika, I bought Agatha Knife when that came out and I enjoyed it immensely - I never finished it thanks to a glitched puzzle, which never seemed to fix itself in my game file despite patches coming out to directly address it. But I liked it a lot, and I would enjoy getting another glimpse into the world.
I would have to go back and play through Agatha Knife, though. Which isn't completely out of the picture, of course - again, nothing but good things to say about Agatha Knife.
