Suddenly, that poster starts following you into unrelated topics going "hey look it's Lost_All_Senses, that guy that (insert misrepresented point here)." Other people see that post and ask what happened, then that poster further misrepresents what you said and the other posters hop on board. Now, even though you have the first guy on ignore, you have to deal with an ever-growing list of posters popping into your topics to harass you about some unrelated thing you didn't even say.
