Less criminals would have kill guns if police didn't have kill guns.

Having a gun turns a minor crime into a felony, and turns a felony into one with a much higher sentence.

Think of it this way - I could rob this store. If I get caught, I maybe get a short stint in prison or a fine.

I could grab a gun, then rob the store. If I get caught, I'm getting put away for a long, long time.

The risk/reward ratio is extremely skewed, and if criminals didn't fear for their lives whenever they saw a cop, they would be far less likely to put themselves in that much riskier scenario

We should give them slingshots instead.

Why not go a step further and abolish all police? That way you cant have police brutality or corrupt cops and there would be no more evil prison system.

they need guns ya dope. what they really need is proper training. training where you learn to diffuse the situation instead of going trigger happy and killing innocent people unprovoked.

cops need a complete training overhaul. theyre doing it wrong.

Pfff, cops aren't required to protect the general public. They can make like a Bishop and use a club.
