Such as we saw with the Hippie Communes from the 60's. Most fail, however, some still remain as of today. Do you believe you would be able to start a long-lasting commune in today's age?

Me personally? No.

But someone? Sure, it wouldn't be too terribly hard... that's basically what Ken Ham and Kent Hovind are doing right now anyways.

Typically non-religious commune's don't last. I think there's one in North America that is the only non-religious commune that has lasted. I could have swore Commune's had to be government sanctioned. It just seems weird to me that you could just settle on a land with a bunch of people.

Why would it? If you own/rent the land and comply with zoning laws, you're fine.

I considered making a video gamers commune when I was younger. Could have been fun, but I'm not social enough for it anymore I don't think. Pretty much just hang out with my close friends and not random people at all anymore.
