Everybody always seems to put Ages higher but they're so close that I have to give it to Seasons for having less intrusive minigames. Also I think maybe the four minorly-varied versions of the world is a better take than two largely-varied versions, though I'd have to play them again. At the very least, the Seasons way of changing the world map was more original to the series

I remember getting Seasons + GB Color as a gift when I was young, and I loved Seasons to death. However when playing through Ages, it seemed a lot better to me overall than Seasons was.

I like Seasons more, but Ages is probably the better game.

I always liked Seasons slightly more. Maybe it's because I had it first.

Ages did feel more advanced, though. Seasons was originally a NES Zelda remake, and a lot of leftovers from that are present. Ages felt more original.

Couldn't get past the Goron dance in Ages.

Was it Seasons or Ages (or both) where the map changed depending on the animal companion you met first? That was kind of a cool idea... the variable map aspect. Too bad the animal companions themselves didn't really feel like a natural fit

I played both a long time ago. Only once each so I don't recall a whole lot. I should make some time to revisit my GB/GBA collection.

I believe both of them had that.

Seasons has the Roc's Cape, so it wins.

Ages would be far better than Seasons if not for the fucking rhythm minigames. For that, kinda have to put Seasons over Ages.

I love them both equally - Ages for better puzzles and Seasons for better fight sequences. They make two parts to a great whole.

As a kid I liked the concept of Seasons better because it basically gave you 4 worlds to play through versus the 2 Ages effectively had but since each area reset whenever you zoned out if it it really didnt change much. Ive also always been a sucker for time travel so Im not really sure why I didnt like Ages more but I definitely preferred the endgame dungeon of the Ages to Seasons transfer over the Seasons to Ages transfer.

Ages, but just barely. Maybe because it was the one I owned back then. It was the first game I got for my GBA SP. It looked better than any of the actual GBA games on the shelf when I bought it. Got both on 3DS now :)

Anyone else find it odd that Capcom was making Zelda games for Nintendo, while Inticreates was making Mega Man games for Capcom?

I've honestly never really liked the Oracle games. Everything about them just seems to annoy the hell out of me. But if I'd have to choose one I'd probably say Ages since the whole world is like a big puzzle.
