They made the super odd decision of just having an official english translation in the JP version that a bunch of people over here were already playing and never started a separate server so those folks wouldn't lose their stuff. =/

I'm sincerely hoping they use the two games mentioned in this topic as a proper launchpad for the series in the west - it really feels like a golden opportunity considering how relatively few people over here play the actual source material.

The only complaint I've heard about GBF is that it takes up an absolutely unholy amount of time. Like, "this better be the only video game you play" kinds of time. Definitely doesn't sound like my thing so I'm glad it's starting to get some really appealing side material!

How be the gacha rates?

two times per month (during flash gala and legfest) 6% ssr rates, split between pulling a summon or a character.

otherwise it's 3% with the same split

if you do 300 pulls on one banner, you can choose an ssr that could be pulled and get them automatically (the pity button basically) so people often save up until they have 300 pulls

on two separate occassions this year they've given at least 100 (more if you're lucky) free rolls during the 6% rates as well.

How big of a problem is starting this late into the game? The main mobile game I play is Fate/Grand Order and you miss out on a ton by starting that one late, including many limited run and event welfare servants.

I tried to start FGO and GBF at the same time about mid last year and I find GBF much more confusing and intricate with so many features already. It got too intimidating for me so I didn't get into it...
