I'm talking pre-1960, not these new crap movies (Dracula Untold and The Mummy) we've been getting this past decade.

Maybe Creature from the Black Lagoon, although the 2000s Wolfman remake was pretty tight. The Universal remake of King Kong also kinda grows on you.

But I didn't ask what your favorite Hammer film was. That's for another topic. This is about the OG monster flicks. Not remakes.
