No. They really just don't have the IPs to make it work, since pretty much every PS icon is third party.

Theres really no need with Snake, Cloud, Joker, etc all in Smash. Crash and/or Spyro are real candidates too.

If they had a good roster and didnt have supers as the only way to kill it could be good.

Hell no, especially now that there are other alternatives to Smash out there in the platform fighting genre now.
It would take too much work on their end to make it work (from a willpower standpoint). Theyd need to pay for a good roster because almost none of the iconic Playstation characters are owned by Sony. yea, it was a great game, IMO, with some issues that could have been ironed out in a sequel.
like, the only real bad thing about it was how you could only beat opponents with a special or Medusa's head. the menus were also basic, and there were a lack of game modes. but the actual gameplay was fun, and it was cool how unique the fighters felt, even the two Coles --- b-bb-box ... I enjoyed it a lot, but people don't realize that when you take out the "specials are the only way to kill" mechanic, it basically is Smash.
It also got a lot of shit from people expecting Sony Smash Bros, which this was in spades, but by no means a competition. If they did another game I'd pick it up; they have a few more IPs they can take from now too. --- Sometimes I say things and I'm not voice acting. ... Copied to Clipboard!
