*Think

I'm all tapped out of land, no cards in hard, and I have enough damage on the table to win, and it's my opponet's turn. They take a full 3mins to give one of his creatures a +7/+7 with Trample to kill me, 100% kill me because I can't block that much and survive, but they still took 3mins to pick to do that?

I call bull shit on that. Seems like he was opening up a program to change his cards in his hand. I would call they an idiot for not being able to do math, but after the damage was done I was -12 HP thanks to the Trample. Without that, I would have blocked them all and swung back to win

I don't know, but I find it very strange when they "pull the perfect card to win" but take 3mins to play it, even when it's their only card

Great, now I just remembered that world "champ" in Pokemon who was going to lose but stalled for nearly an hour by waiting until the last second to confirm his moves and ended up winning by hp. Iirc it was the same guy who showed up a few days prior without his ds or team yet had over a dozen Pokemon ready to use by the next day on a fresh file. Since it's actually in the rules to not generate things, even legal ones, it was a flagrant violation but then official judges defended him so like. Fuck the entire league, really.

Sorry, I don't understand since I've never played Pokemon like that. Were you two on a clock or something? It's turn base, so wouldn't you just attack and win? Unless you missed the attack and they countered back with an attack of their own, which would be a legit win by them and have nothing to do with how long they took for their turn.

Oh, are you talking about the card game? I don't know anything about that

What were you playing?

It was in the video game world tournament. Battles can last up to an hour but you get like 120 seconds to confirm your attacks each turn. One player intentionally stalled for most of the time limit because they had only two things left alive and neither had attacking moves so he couldn't have won except by timing out and then the winner is determined by who has the most hp left.

Those things are calculated on the server side, so there's no way for them to actually hack into it.

No, I know all about Magic. I've been a fan of the game since Alpha. I know about that shit. I'm just fucking salty

It's such a dick move to let me thing I have you dead, then you have my death in hand and you make me think the entire time that you're trying to just make me quit while you Timeout 3 times in a row, and then just kill me with the 1 clutch pull

Also, I blame a lot of these bastards on streamers. Talking to their chat, responding the emotes and shit. Just play the fucking game!

Great trolling tbh
