People serving life can gain access to televisions, social interactions with other inmates, playing games together, finding work and ways to occupy their time, etc. I don't think that's necessarily justice for some people. Some people should be locked away in confinement to suffer for what they did. Death penalty should be reserved for cases that are blatantly obvious and unquestionable of guilt. Anyone who sincerely worries about the cost of the death penalty should aim their focus on other prison costs, like drug offenders serving so much time in prison for minor drug charges.
