Might as well rename this ZeldaFAQs. We all know from day one that just by being from a Zelda game, the character is going to get an amount of vote he does not deserve. And here we are: At the finals. We have two Zelda characters fighting it out. This is the most boring contest outcome possible, and entirely predictable that the main character is going to beat the support character.

We need some other format just to make the character contest more exciting. Something like a four way, first two move on or only the best of a three way contest to give the contest more variety, or it is just going to be Zelda all year.

The character contest has always been a predictable Link vs Cloud snoozefest. People also vote for who they think will get the most votes (so they have a chance of winning a prize) instead of whoever is actually their favourite character, which just ends up leading us down the same Link vs Cloud path every time.

Why does Zelda not deserve votes? She's a better character than Mario, link, cloud and crono. Not that she's a great character.

I always wanted to see a poll with larger brackets, or weighted votes. I don't even like Cloud much either, but I often find myself voting for the 'not Link' option.
