She's been dressing like this for over a year and a half as she spends hours a day getting ready to fulfill her doll aesthetic and completing her complex transformattion that requires coloured contacts, putting on wigs and contouring her face with streaks of blue make up She said "This is an extension of my personality and who i am on the inside. I'm a walking canvas for my art" She has now SHAVED her eyebrows to give her more room for eye shadow and has numerous piercings such as a septum ring and lip and cheek piercings. It's relaxing for her to take time out of her day to do all of this as it draws inspiration from the Japanse fashion community where she wanted to push social boundaries as it's becoming a purpose to who she really is Her identity is "Rotting Doll" after wanting to connect to her cutesy-doll look with an "evil twist". Jess however says she stays away from the label living doll but a human who wears makeup She has to deal with criticism a lot but surrounds herself with supportive people such a her boyfriend, Tristan who also likes to dress up in make up to look different. He says she is bubbly and full of life as they share their love for artistic visions after meeting online. She's fully aware of the consequences for looking this way but hopes people will understand one day and Tristan says her appearance doesn't faze him (as he has room to talk) because he's attracted to her NATURAL look..which is how she looks now..
