One of my favorite moments from 3 is when Javik basically goes around calling out how bullshit everything is about the Asari.

Yeah, it seemed like that was the direction they were going. Get your squad together and get everyone to like each other so they're an effective team in the next game, and then lolnope, everyone scattered again and everything you did was pointless.

the saddest thing is that gameplay wise jack excels at just one thing
destroying husks
a common enemy in ME1 and 3 but in ME2 there is like only 1 dungeon that has a lot of husks to fight

Her powers were garbo. If memory serve me right she had no powers to break through enemies defenses. I was using Miranda and Garrus most of the time as an Infiltrator.

I miss ME2, I'm glad they're going to make a 5th installment.

i dunno, i think Vega is worse. Jacob's loyalty mission at least is thought-provoking.

james vega is a likable guy who well underdeveloped is a nice addition
jacob was just boring. plus even if you romance him he cheats on you and knocks some girl up

Because they planned to have him be recruitable from the beginning

He has unique dialogue recorded and accessible in game for most major missions prior to his recruitment if you edit him into your party, there's just not a recruitment mission for him

I think most squadmates have dialogue available for missions prior to their recruitment even, because the original intention was to have them recruitable in any order

actually i think thats just so the game doesnt crash if you use mods to alter your party

Yeah, it seemed like that was the direction they were going. Get your squad together and get everyone to like each other so they're an effective team in the next game, and then lolnope, everyone scattered again and everything you did was pointless.

the intent was for them to be an effective team in the suicide mission

what with the mission being intended as a suicide mission, there was no expectation of a 'next mission' for them, except by players
