After rewatching the show, I thought you could kind of sympathize with him a little. He's annoying but yeah. Overall, how are you enjoying the season?

I prefer season 1 because I found the Barksdale stuff more interesting.

that is kind of his point, although i think you might feel a little more sympathy for him towards the end of season 2. he is a perpetual loser that is partially a product of his environment

almost all of the characters from the dock subplot are specific to S2. on my first viewing i was underwhelmed by S2 but on subsequent watches i enjoyed it a lot more.

Nobody around him acts like him though. His dad seems like a good guy.

ziggy is really just a guy who is not cut out for the life he is born/trapped in. he's a poor stevedore & an even worse criminal.

his father is a good guy but is too caught up in the stress of politics, the docks, and his own involvement in organized crime to really give his kid attention

I think s1 just may be better than s4. But yeah, I agree that s1 is much better than s2. However, I found s2 to be much more enjoyable after rewatching the show.

He's a complete ****, but he's like one of those guys almost everyone knows or is related to. He's annoying, but still somewhat likable.

I'm one of the few who loves season 2. Of course others are better, but that doesn't take away from 2's greatness to me.

I liked Frank and sympathized him. Nick too and Ziggy to an extent.

I just thought it was great that they showed how the drug trade affects more than just the hood, it shows who the big guys are that are supplying all the street guys (I really wanted to see more of The Greek and Spiros), and I just find it hilarious that all of the events happen just because Valcheck is a jealous bastard over a window.

Plus there's the D'Angelo plot. Now that's something.

3>2>1>4>5 is how I'd rank the seasons.
