Ah yes, the one where it was "too expensive" to include a $20 bag in a collector's edition that cost $140 more than the game itself, so they replaced it with a 5-cent one and didn't update the ads.

You can always legally sue in the US, it would be up to a judge whether accepting their offer waved the consumers rights to the value of the advertised product

Okay, I'll clarify a bit, the class action stuff that happens. Saw mentioned elsewhere that accepting compensation would prevent that.

The canvas bag offer isn't great either. They aren't offering bags to all users, only ones that contact them in time with all they require. Also sounds like these bags will probably be a rush job compared to what they should have been, so the quality possibly won't match the advertised bags.

Did anyone honestly care about the bag? To my understanding most people who forked our the money were doing so for the helmet, Im sure 99% of the people bitching didnt get the collectors edition.

Did they tell people the atoms were a replacement? Because that would matter. If they didnt, some people may think the atoms were an apology for taking so long. Maybe. But I have no idea whats going on. Just wondering if they actually told them it was a replacement. Because I believe that would have to be a known thing. And even then, I think they can still sue. They just might not win... unless the judge decides otherwise for whatever reason...

So a fun little update. When it is all said and done I think that the release of this game might be the biggest PR shit in the bed ever seen in the gaming industry. I say this as someone that genuinely enjoys the broken ass game.
