no but my mom never shuts the fuck up about hers so I'm guessing they will get me one for Christmas, I have seen it do an incredible job cooking bacon though

I do. And no. If you want crunchy breading on your chicken or catfish or fries you need hot oil. Because you need the heat to force the food to release the water vapor and create air pockets in the breading and then you need that oil to flash cook that breading and freeze it into that shape with all those air bubbles. It also cooks fast and locks in the moisture so your chicken stays moist.

All my air fryer does is suck the moisture out of the food.

Also, save your money and cook that bacon in the oven if you don't want to deal with the stove.

I had the best chicken wings of my life from my air fryer last week. Crispy outside, moist inside, and tasty af.
