this is so weird.

i remember being, like, 18 and being fat and unhygienic and not showering every day because "who cares, looks and social stuff don't matter, i don't need friends, only video games matter" but then i sort of grew up and now i'm not like that and, even though i'm still a total nerd, i still wouldn't, like, go to a public event without... showering?

i've seen this said about cons before and the argument i've seen is that you only have such a limited time to enjoy yourself at a special event like this that you don't wanna waste it on showering but... uh... you're just making the event worse (and therefore less enjoyable) if you don't, aren't you?

I refuse to leave me home without showering

and then I shower again if I've been out all day
