It's the worst; it interferes with my ability to interact with other people, distracts me far too often when I'm trying to work at my job, and sometimes prevents me from enjoying things I used to love.

While excessive anxiety is terrible (and I know that from experience), a healthy amount of anxiety is important for your safety. Namely, it can act as a warning if something's wrong. You feel anxious when you're right near a cliff because you need to be careful. You feel anxious before a job interview because you know you need to give it your all. However, too much anxiety can cripple you and end up screwing you over, like an alarm that goes off for no reason, so I understand why it's tempting to give it a 1/10.

I mean the 1 is only there due to the fact anxiety can keep me out of danger.

I thought it was there only because TC didn't have room for a "0".

On the poll they won't allow you to put 0. However a null vote would have served as that and I'd have stated as such.
