Because Judaism directly rejects the divinity of Jesus which is what the entire Christian religion is about.

Christians focus specifically on Judaism's rejection of Jesus Christ (as opposed to "pagan" rejections) because Christianity is basically "Judaism+", so being Jewish in their eyes is like a direct rejection of their faith.

Yes. Christians also are waiting on the Messiah. They've just decided to name theirs already

I've never heard any Catholics talk badly about Jews. My priest just the other day was saying we need to respect all faiths and invite them in.

I think a lot of it also stems from the fact that it was Romans who canonized everything and created the interpretations that Christian theology is based on. They had a vested interest in focusing on the Jewish people calling for his death rather than the Roman government who put him to death.
