You know, I seriously expect Day One will bring a flood of flopix on CE, complaining about what a "huge disappointment" the game is, and how Nintendo got "real lazy" and "stupid" with the game, and how certain people "can't believe how it's one of the worst games ever". This will all be after spending 4 hours with the game, and seeing a fraction of the content. There'll be some topics saying the game is great, and a few saying it's alright, but most of the topics will be scathing reviews...by hardcore fans of the series, who, in theory, should love the game.

Can you do that with downloadable games, these days? And then game auto-unlocks at midnight on the day of the release? If so, that's pretty clever.

But of course, virtual games are stupid, and the people who but them are evil. It's much better to get physical games. <_<

I mean I'll PROBABLY get a switch eventually and then Smash eventually, just not for a while at least.

I like the series, but it's not a "must-buy", for me, plus I no longer have a Switch.

I'll get it, I love SSB, but I'm not super hyped for it like I should be. Because it only has 5 unique newcomers, and even though most of them are cool, the only ones I really wanted are Ridley and Isabelle, one of which is a semiclone. It's missing characters from Golden Sun, Advance Wars, Rhythm Heaven, Minecraft, and more. And it only has four new stages, wtf.

But I haven't played SSB for a few years ever since I gave my Wii U to my brothers. So it'll be nice to have it again even if it's hardly any new content and missing so much old content like trophies, crazy orders, smash run, home run contest, adventure mode, and so on

Yeah, this is the most jam packed smash game to date. More content than any other smash game. I mean, it's every other smash game combined save for what? Sub space emmisary(which I didn't care about) and trophies?

If I got all the other games day 1, I see no reason not to do so for this one since it has more than those did at launch.
