All I know is I saw a $5,000 iMac at an Apple store that was vastly inferior to my ~$2,000 PC.

i tried my coworker's airpods out once. didnt really feel like anything special, especially since you can get tons of other earbuds that probably sound just as good for half the price and can fit your use case better.

a lot of what you're paying for with apple products is the marketing/brand name and the imaginary lifestyle attached to it

For the same price you can get the Sony True wireless earbuds.

It's got way better sound quality imo. And I've yet to have earbuds that have better noise canceling capabilities.

People losing them is a user flaw not a flaw of the product. I would never spend that kind of money on headphones and lose them.

Its not even imaginary. If you have the products they really do fit pretty amazingly.

I could leave the house with no phone and not even stress. Apple Watch and AirPods is all I need and I still have everything I need. Once you connect everything its so easy to just pick up and use too.

go to the apple store and look at all the demo texts and calendar appointments and shit on their products, it's all friends asking if you want to go windsurfing in Bali, executive board meetings, etc.

apple sells this image that if you buy all their products and link them together you are instantly becoming more productive and transcending what you are really doing with them, which is normal computer shit that you have to do

And iphones are a tiny percentage of all phones, especially if you aren't looking to drop almost a thousand on a phone. You can get better sound quality and more features in others too. As far as I know it's the only one that stops when you pull it out which is cool, but others still have buttons on the ear pods.

Yeah. I will agree that some of the features are very convenient. Other than that, the sound quality is very subpar, they leak nearly all of the sound, and while they have yet to fall out of my ear they constantly feel like they will.
