I've been a fan of Hitman since all the way back when I played a demo for Codename 47. Still a huge fan.

I was obsessed with Mass Effect as soon as it was announced. I obsessively read all of the information about it before launch. Always rewatched those demo's.

I got into Halo about a year after it came out. A friend in school was raving about it. Got an Xbox for Christmas 2002 with it. Loved that instantly.

Was close with The Witcher but didn't play the original until The Witcher Enhanced Edition was released. Didn't have a good enough gaming PC to play it earlier. But got in early enough to be hyped for Witcher 2. It's crazy to see how much that franchise grew after 3.

I trailed off Pokmon after playing Gold. Didn't get back into it until Pokmon X/Y.

I remember playing GTA1, London and 2 on the PS1 but I only ever rented them. I did enjoy them though. But I dunno what I played first or when that was. They all blur together for me.

GTA, most likely. I bought GTA1 the day it released, as I had played the demo extensively on school PCs and was itching for the full game. Bought the expansion around the time it came out, too. Have acquired every GTA on release date ever since, except GTA2. I didn't play that until sometime in 2015. Never bothered with the handheld games; the two PSP games eventually made their way to the PS2.

If you mean games where I've played literally every one in the series... Fatal Frame, the Souls series, and that's about it. Even franchises I love fire off duds sometimes or release on phones or consoles I don't own.

For the sake of simplicity I think mainline games covers it fine.

Damn, I was sooooo into this series until the mid-to-late 2010s, but I "fell off the ride", so to speak, when it moved on to the PS4 and I got a PC instead.

Pokemon would be the only one I guess. Started with Blue, got Silver as soon as it was released here and played most of the games in the series and many spin offs. I didn't like Sun/Moon but I'm looking forward to playing Let's Go Pikachu eventually.
