So, it seems like Cyber Monday is also Cruise Monday as there are some pretty serious deals going on.

The best of them that I have seen (although many give steep discounts) is Royal Carribean which offers 60% off the second person.

The 3rd and 4th person is always very cheap (about 1/4th the base price or so), so 60% off the second person can end up saving a very large amount.

It also means your only paying 140% of the amount you would if you traveled with someone else, even if solo. At least I would imagine that is the case (have not tested it out). Usually you pay for double occupancy anyway....so in this case if it's normally $120 a night per person (or $240 total if solo), it would only be $168 a night solo (and you don't end up paying taxes/fees etc actually...so it would probably be like $150.

$150 isn't that horrid of a deal even traveling with someone (that is for a balcony room btw). That is the price for a 10 day trip to Hawaii from Royal Carribean leaving sept 10th 2019 btw.

Long story short, if you plan on going on a cruise anytime soon, or have always wanted to, but don't have someone to go with etc.....now is the itme to book one. The other sites are giving discounts per person, but some are large enough to be just about as good as royal Carribean (saw one 11 day cruise with $600 off per person, which is about $50 a day per person. Again if you would normally pay $150 a night with 2 people, you would then end up paying $200 a night for just you ($50 extra), or less.

Those cruises are crazy deals even when they arent on sale like this. You can eat so much good food on board, and a night on a cruise is often cheaper than a night on many hotels.

Yeah, if you don't mind staying at an interior room (it's not that bad), it can be crazy cheap.

I want a balcony though, so getting it for less then $100 a day isn't gonna happen, but it's the only way to get fresh air (the view is nice as well).

Even $100 a day though is pretty freaking cheap compared to a hotel, and you go to many ports and you get tons of food. The buffet isn't that great even on the better ships (I've only gone on Royal Carribean so far), but the downstairs dining (still free, just not the specialty places) is quite good and you can still eat all you want (just only a few choices per night).

With deals like they have today though it gets crazy since many are giving the second guest free (the greek cruises are totally free for the second person, but it leaves and returns from athens so you need to get there). Others are doing free air fair, free wifi, $150 + onboard credit (can use that for specialty dining, excursions etc), straight discounts per person etc.

I saw a few for like $40 a night per person (interior though) to mexico from Cali (12 days). I mean that is freaking insanely cheap.
