Also I assume there is a different ending for murdering things. Is it worth seeing?

There's a lot of murdering things to sit through to see the final ending. It's definitely worth seeing, though fairly monotonous to get on your own.

You have to sit in an area and keep triggering battles until everything in the area is dead, for every location in the game.

That said, you're gonna miss out on a lot if you try and cherry pick what to watch somewhere else.

There is a route for murdering things, but be warned that it's much harder than the route you just played. I just watched it on youtube.

There are two bosses on that route that are horrendous and about 100x harder than anything else in the game. The story is also not as interesting as the true pacifist over even neutral ending, imo. If you loved the story so far though there is a little more lore here you can learn so it is up to you if it is worth it or not.

These bosses are both amazing and legit the best gameplay experience of the game. You feel like a fucking asshole for fighting them, though. :(

I would've been fine if there was something in between them and the rest of the game in terms of difficulty. I didn't die once anywhere else while playing, but it took me 2 HOURS to beat Undyne and like another hour or so to beat Sans.There is nothing else anywhere close to them in terms of difficulty or design, and its weird they made the rest of the fights so dull, particularly in True Genocide where there was a lot of space for interesting fights.

Also if you didn't feel like a monster for killing Toriel or Papyrus, there was nothing that was going to make you feel like a monster

Yeah genocide is supposed to be a largely boring/unfun experience. The two real bosses it features are the exception but the whole point is to make you look at yourself and realize how much bad stuff you put up with (and also in this case, fucked up shit you'll do) just because you want to see everything in the game.

They're not an exception because they induce frustration/despair/rage. It's all just trying to bring the worst out of you, and it works whether you realize it or not.

I honestly hadn't thought of this because those bosses were the absolute highlight of the game for me in terms of its actual gameplay, they were a blast. I guess for other folks it could definitely be a miserable experience but honestly they made me wish the rest of the game took more advantage of how crazy its systems could get. :(

I can imagine that. But that just means it tapped into your bloodlust and negative competitiveness. Basically what Goku does in DBZ, letting the world get as close to destruction as possible just so he can have a good fight. You enjoy it but it's a really bad side of humanity.

It's true! All of this reminds me I need to go check out Deltarune some time soon. Undertale is a really special experience and Toby's strikes me as a hell of a creator.
