What sucks is that I have to try and avoid everything related to the game for two weeks until the game comes out. It's confirmed we're not getting Codecs back, so I'd at least like the Palutena's Guidance skits to be a surprise. And also, I had no idea World of Light was gonna have any cutscenes or story at all, so just having that revealed to me yesterday was a surprise. I thought it was just gonna be an extended version of Smash Tour, with a hybrid Mario-style map, you unlock characters, fight the final boss, and that's it. The sheer number of quality remixes, the reactions, it was simply magical. I do share some of your sentiments as I'm saving one remix for my birthday so I can savor the experience. But seeing so many people gush about their favorite song being remixed, it was like seeing a bunch of orphan kids be hand delivered gifts they didn't know they loved from St. Nick himself. I wouldn't be able to experience the Christmas miracle in such a communal and festive manner if I waited till the game came out. But Gameplay modes, yeah those things can wait.
