I gave the giblets to the dog, but my roommate said no to giving him the neck (because it has bones). It looks like it has a fair amount of meat on it, and I hate to just throw it out.

So what can I do with the neck?

strip the meat from the bone?

Cook it and eat it.

We usually use it to make gravy for the potatoes. Yeah, it's not that hard to take the meat off that bone.

I tried just frying it in a bit of ghee (clarified butter) and gnawing on it. Tasty, but not really enough meat on it to make it worth the effort. I might try the gravy idea next year, unless someone else has a better suggestion?
