A survey by the Pew Research Centre found that 0.4% of Americans identify as Wicca or Pagan and experts believe the explosion of the witch population is due to millenial women's embracing of new age spirituality, mindfulness, meditation and yoga

Wicca, aka Witchcraft is a Pagan religion that emerged in the UK in the early 20th century. Based on "pre-Christian traditions" it was popularized by a retired British civil servant named Gerald Gardner.

They praise nature and nature's gods and goddesses and practice in parks, gardens or fields and achieve self awakening through dancing, singing, chanting and use herbs and incense but it has NO CONNECTIONS to SATANISM which is often confused with.

Honestly, most of the neo-pagan religions I've studied have basically been a spiritual spin on environmentalism and humanitarianism. The 'magic' aspect is bullshit, of course, but most religions are more about ritualistic behavior reinforcing ideas than actual 'magic'.
