Also, they have anime on the list, but not Dragonball? I never even watched it/never saw the appeal, but it had a pretty damn big impact in increasing American appreciation of anime series, ignoring it is silly.

I love a lot of these shows (The Critic, Daria, Bob's Burgers, etc.) -- but the level of writing and sophistication to King of the Hill isn't even comparable to most of these shows. I know other people have already said it, but I'll say it again: What the hell is BoJack doing in the number one spot? Unless you restrict the Simpsons to its golden age--say between seasons 3 and 10--it doesn't deserve to be nearly that high. These days there are maybe two or three mediocre episodes per season and the rest leave you wondering what's wrong with the writers.

like uh, let's say for the sake of argument that Simpsons is #2 because of the cultural impact and quality of its first 8-10 seasons. Okay, where is DBZ? Sure, Evangelion and Bebop are on here and they're strictly better, but the majority of Simpsons is crap, so why isn't DBZ here for its cultural impact when it had a ton? Same thing with Spongebob. It opened strong and all the nostalgia people have is rooted entirely up to 2004 since the quality sharply declined after the original movie.
there's a lot of missing anime picks here but I'll roll with assuming the people deciding this list were mostly exposed to the anime that crossed cultures really well. I can forgive that, and there are some great shows on this list (Justice League sticks out as a forgotten classic worth recognition) but the ordering of these placements is so ridiculous, lol, it has no basis in anything, it's just like one person's very unusual opinion presented as a list to be taken seriously --- Enjoy movies and television?
