In addition to the original 1993 game, this version included a Modern mode, with:

- Post-FX graphic filters,

- Completely remastered sound and music,

- A brand new 'Rewind' function, variable according to the level of difficulty

- Tutorials for those who need a boost!

Plus, remote play on the Vita.

Does anyone think the above mentioned features are worth the $25 price tag on a 25 year old game?

I don't like to gripe about the price of games, but I have like 4 copies of this game already on various platforms. Would love to play it on PS4 and Vita, but maybe for like $10.

Games almost always do that, they're going after the superfans with the launch. Just pick it up whenever it goes on sale.

Is probably pay 50bucks if Nintendo released super Mario world, as is, in switch.

So it just depends on the game

Conversely the 2013 version (which includes the 93 version) is only $10. Although Flashback was kind of a mediocre game anyways. Just play Out of this World (which has numerous re-releases) or Blackthorne (which is free with a Battle.net account) instead if you want that style of game.

Didn't the last edition of flashback that came on the 360 and ps3 come with this game too? I know it was transfered to the xbox one.
