When you colorize a black-and-white film, you often ruin the cinematography of the movie. For example, It's a Wonderful Life in color is atrocious - replacing the shadows and shadings of Capra's work with garish pink color. But I get what you're saying about live-action Disney. It's not so much they change things, but they try to be both new and old. I haven't and won't see the new Beauty and the Beast live action cosplay, but The Jungle Book was pretty awful. Depressing as hell, dark... yet it still had the same carefree songs. It just sucked. You can't do both. ... Copied to Clipboard!
